ZoorfExpo – the meeting place for the pet trade

ZoorfExpo is the largest meeting place for the pet trade industry in Scandinavia and is organized by the Swedish Pet Trade Federation (Zoobranschens Riksförbund, Zoorf). The trade fair is strictly B2B and brings together companies, organizations and professionals within pet retail, feed, accessories, animal health and related services.
ZoorfExpo is held every other year and serves as a shared platform for business, knowledge exchange and industry dialogue.

ZoorfExpo 2025

ZoorfExpo 2025 took place on 8–9 November at Kistamässan and became the largest edition to date.

• Number of exhibitors: 92 companies
• Number of exhibitor countries: 16
• Number of participants: just over 1,300 people
• Geographic reach: Sweden, Scandinavia and the rest of Europe
• Outcome: Record numbers for both exhibitors and visitors

Content and program

In addition to the exhibiting companies, ZoorfExpo 2025 offered a stage program with both Swedish and international speakers. The focus was on current industry issues such as:

• regulatory developments and authority-related matters
• future challenges for the pet trade industry
• sustainability and new product trends
• digitalization and operational efficiency

During the trade fair, member offers for Zoorf members were also presented, including solutions related to customer loyalty systems and insurances.

Authorities and partners

Information stands from several authorities and organizations were also present, where visitors could ask questions and engage in dialogue on topics such as regulations, CITES and animal importation. Zoorf participated with its own stand, where visitors could meet the board and receive information about the organizations work.

Awards and industry community

The joint dinner on Saturday evening brought together approximately 400 participants and is a popular feature that strengthens networking and a sense of community within the industry. As part of the trade fair, awards were presented for Best Stand, Visitors’ Choice, as well as a special honorary award in connection with Zoorf’s 50th anniversary.

Next ZoorfExpo

The next ZoorfExpo is planned for autumn 2027.
In the meantime, Zoorf continues its work to develop the trade fair as a relevant, professional and unifying meeting place for the entire pet trade industry.
